Key Results Areas:
Support the Product Planning Head through entire product Life Cycle, to maintain the health of this line.
Execute Supply Chain activities to enable the company to meet its strategic Marketing plans.
Search the internet, trade & product journals and other sources for relevant information on Product Development/ Technology Development to enable improved business planning & performance.
Assist the PP Head to do effective competitive analysis to favorably position the company.
Define tactical components of the product marketing plans in conjunction with the Head - Product Planning
Perfect documentation & maintenance of records.
Product Life Cycle & Health of Products:
Monitor stock movement on a daily basis with specific focus on ageing. Ensure that stocking age does not exceed the company standards for the products.
Prepare Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) reports, highlight ageing stock and seek approvals from Head- Product Planning for aggressive sales plan. Co-ordinate with Marketing and Showroom Supervisors for aggressive promotion - both internal in the organization and external.
Co-ordinate with marketing department & E-commerce department for special promotions (locally or on the intranet).
If required, re-work on pricing and create new price-lists and ensure co-ordinate communication.
Ensure that stock turnover ratio is met for all products category (Home Appliance, Electronics, Air Conditioners, Small Domestic Appliances, Kitchen Appliances, Built In Products).
Ensure that there is perfect circulation of DISPLAY units. I.e. rotation of DISPLAY STOCKS on a weekly basis.
Support the Head - product Planning to prepare monthly targets and circulate them to all showrooms & dealers
Support the Accounts Department in dispersal of Payments for monthly target achievements
Prepare special sales commission plans which are season specific and also model specific.
