Niagara College, widely regarded as one of Canada’s most innovative applied learning post-secondary institutions, has expanded its international reach through satellite campuses located in Taif and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. With a strategic focus on developing “world-ready and work-ready” graduates, the campuses specialize in delivering a number of diploma programs in the areas of tourism, hospitality, business, IT and a foundation program for English language development.
Applicants are invited for the position of Head of Teaching and Learning, Niagara College KSA, Makkah male campus. Reporting to the Campus Principal, the Head of Teaching and Learning is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all foundation and vocational diploma programs while providing strategic leadership in a positive, energetic and dynamic manner. The successful candidate shall be responsible for building a strong, unified team of faculty who will meet the educational mission of the College of providing outstanding applied learning to prepare graduates for successful employment. The incumbent shall also ensure successful integration of the programs so that faculty can competently meet the academic needs of the organization.
This position has a duration of 12 months, with possibility of renewal, and with an anticipated start date of ASAP. It is expected that the incumbent be flexible in terms of hours of work and maintain confidentiality, diplomacy and tact regarding internal and external relations.
