Randstad MENA is seeking an experienced Medical Manager - Gastro role on behalf of a major client. This is a permanent staff position based in Saudi Arabia.
Reports to: Medical Affairs Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Looks after medico-marketing compliance and activities related with products in his/her area of responsibility- Safeguards medical compliance with other company SOPs, MOH regulations, Code of Conduct, and other relevant laws and regulations.- Delivers updated information on legislation, code of conduct, and all related regulations; conducts necessary training accordingly for all Takeda employees- Initiates the creation and updating, or provides medical input to relevant local SOPs- Reviews and approvals of all promotional activities for the responsible products- Prepares standard pharmacovigilance training programs for employees and third parties according to local legislation and SOPs- Develops local clinical research programs and trial strategies in line with global strategies- Manages all clinical-related activities in KSA- Liaise with cross functional teams on the planning and delivery of brand meetings and conventions- Responsible for evaluating country economic drivers, cost and pricing strategies- Works closely with governmental bodies and reimbursement agencies to influence policies, funding decisions and treatment guidance- Participate in the preparation of medical texts in external communications
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Physician- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs in a multinational pharmaceuticals company- Experience and excellent understanding of Gastro disease area- Innovative, enthusiastic and self-motivated- Excellent analytical and planning skills- Strong Decision-maker- Ready to accept individual responsibility and challenges- Genuine desire to make a difference- Good communication skills- Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities
