The position
For our rapidly expanding activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we have a job opportunity for an experienced marketing & communications professional.
The position of ‘Senior Manager Marketing & Communications’ will be responsible for DaVita KSA’s marketing & communications (MarComm) strategic planning, operational execution and corporate communications. As member of the international MarComm leadership team, the role is responsible as country lead for the Kingdom. The role reports to the Country Manager KSA.
The position is based in Riyadh and requires travel throughout KSA and some travel internationally.
In this role you will be responsible to define the country strategy, project manage activities and partners to deliver on strategy, monitor the market for changes to adjust our strategy accordingly, and act as a subject matter expert to the Country Manager KSA and other departments on issues related to effective MarComm activities. These activities will be done in order to increase DaVita’s brand awareness and engagement with the Ministry of Health, patients and community in the Kingdom, and strengthen internal communications.
The role’s key responsibilities include:
o Develop the MarComm strategy, including brand building, audience engagement, public relations promotion, media management and internal, corporate communications.
o Manage multiple campaigns and programs, from initial project plan creation through to completion, including discovery, strategy development, project management, budget/ team/ resource management, and all aspects of execution.
o Participate in discussions around strategy, campaign/project management, MarComm performance management and vendor/partner management.
o Seek out insights (customer and/or market) and integrate them into decision making.
o Work collaboratively with country leadership and peers to develop and refine DaVita KSA’s value proposition and ensure consistency across all communication channels.
o Serve as KSA’s brand and quality manager, overseeing design, writing and translation.
o Manage contractors and partners, including design, copywriting, translation, PR and social.
o Act and communicate as a business partner with country, regional and international teammates.
o Lead roll-out, promotion and performance of new, corporate communications program in KSA, working with the global internal communications team.
The role is new to DaVita in KSA, as the MarComm activities for KSA were managed by the international MarComm team, in cooperation with local agencies in KSA.
With strong, consistent performance and behaviors, this role has the potential to grow to include responsibility for regional (EMEA) and international initiatives.
