Purpose of the Position :
Preparation of estimation based on enquiry document, Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for awarded jobs and drawings as needed.
Main Responsibilities :
1. Prepare the BOQ (based on project specifications, Data Sheets, Project Drawings) for the Project bidding process.
2. Prepare refractory lining sketches and line diagrams based on Master Key Design. This requires CAD expertise.
3. Ensure that technical specifications provided by the client are in compliance with the ASTM Standards.
4. Obtain the material offers through procurement department.
5. Prepare material quotes as per RFQ.
6. Prepare required documents for bids and tenders (such as manpower/equipment schedule, method statements, updates to pre-qualification document and others as required).
7. File all estimation related documents such as bid files, specification files and supply offer prices files.
8. Undertake any other responsibility assigned.
