PURPOSE OF WORK
To provide the technical specialty and field skills guidance in executing Electrical, Instrument & Analyzing (EI&A) critical and/or complex activities in a way that enhances safety and reduces cost and mean time to repair (MTTR). To ensure sustainable compliance of EI&A activities with the company procedures and practices. To facilitate skills enhancement program toward effective talent development.
Responsibilities:
- Support complex and new technology troubleshooting (e.g High voltage troubleshooting, CFP systems and software based equipment troubleshooting, etc.)
- Optimize the need for vendors specialists for some activities by developing site expertise
- Develop junior talents and improve the skills enhancement program.
- Support improving EI&A equipment reliability (e.g. aging electrical equipment reliability road-map, etc.)
- Support and guide field teams in safe execution of annual critical equipment proof testing and PMs (e.g HIPPS, compressors, Boilers, heaters, substations, etc.) and as required update procedure and work instructions in accordance to actual PM and/or tests methodology.
- Provide maintenance specialty for projects development to minimize potential issues afterwards.
