The GM will oversee the effective and efficient running of the business including profit & loss responsibility, company processes & procedures, health & safety, procurement, planning, quality, cost control, and resources management. He will be responsible for the execution of medium & mega pipeline, upstream & downstream construction & maintenance projects with Saudi ARAMCO in KSA.
Responsibilities:
• Define Strategic objectives for Oil & Gas division in line with the company growth strategy.
• Generate new business opportunities with major clients i.e. ARAMCO by capitalizing upon his networking skills and relations with clients.
• Direct the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure.
• Analyze and approve operational investments that best meet the business needs.
• Oversee the opening and closing of contracts as per time, budget, quality and safety.
• Lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of senior managers with operational responsibilities.
• Guide the Contracts team to read and understand the contracts carefully to identify all potential risks and make a procedure to mitigate those risks.
• Ensure that project budget is prepared; analyze and review the cost of the project, and ensure that all the resources (including HR, materials, and equipment & plant) necessary for execution are within the stipulated budget allocated to the project in order to control the cost of the project.
• Ensure the implementation of Project Planning, Control & Monitoring tools/techniques on all project sites and conduct periodic progress & financial reviews with the senior Management.
• Building & strengthen relations with current and potential clients for sustainable business growth.
• Ensure optimum utilization of the resources during the planning stage to avoid extra cost.
• Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the project team members.
• Adhere to company safety and quality standards and promote safety culture among all the team members.
• Responsible to create a performance based and cost-conscious culture with the prime focus on best service delivery to clients and enhanced profitability of the projects.
