To fabricate and repair prosthetic and orthotic device in accordance with CPO instructions, specializing in leather and footwear products.
Principal Duties:
1. Patient/ caregiver education.
2. Fabricate and assemble prosthetic and orthotic devices, including component parts, sockets, and suspension systems as designed by the CPO.
3. Perform bench alignment of the device b the specifications of the CPO.
4. As directed, assist the CPO in fitting and aligning activities with patients.
5. As directed, perform finishing operations on orthoses and orthoses, including the use of alignment transfer tools and equipment.
6. Report any pertinent information regarding the derrice or the patient to the CPO.
7. Take part in follow-up procedures in respect of maintenance, repair and replacement of the appliance.
8. Be responsible fur the care and economical use of laboratory material equipment and tools.
9. Advise on and supervise the activities of technical support personnel.
10. Report to the PO Technician Supervisor on special needs regarding laboratory materials, equipment and tools.
11. Maintain safe working practices at all times.
Educational and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Prosthetic and Orthotic - NO minimum experience required for Saudi and 2 years for Non-Saudi
2 year Diploma Degree in Prosthetic and Orthotic - 1 year minimum experience required for Saudi and 2 years for Non-Saudi
