Purpose This position provides financial management, information and analysis, in order to assist Company Limited Saudi and to achieve commercial success, while observing the highest standards and operating in accord with the Groups motto of ‘Excellence with Integrity’. Duties will include supervision of the finance function’s responsibilities and deadlines, providing monthly management account reporting, financial analysis of operational results, financial modelling of new business opportunities, and facilitating the ongoing forecasting and annual budgeting process within Company Limited. KEY DUTIES Finance Management • Review and improve financial processes, adapted to the needs of the group and in accordance with local tax and legal requirements. • Supervision of monthly closing processes and preparation of monthly reports for submission to the Saudi management team and overseas Head Office. • Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes) and other financial statements for review by the auditors in accordance with the deadlines of the group. • Development of decision-making basis for the attention of the managing director and the executive in connection with the construction of new projects and programs. • Support the management and executive team in all tax, cash, legal and financial issues. • Ensure an optimal execution of daily business with a focus on the customer and vendor management and cash management. Financial reporting • Production and reporting of the monthly management accounts (eg P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement, account reconciliations) within expected timeframes. • Assist the Director of Finance in preparation of annual statutory account, End of Year processes and Audit. Financial and Operational Analysis • Business analysis of monthly management accounts and business drivers suitable for presenting and discussing with various managers/directors within the business. • Assist Managers with understanding monthly financial results and the key financial drivers of their business. • Meet with the Managers on a monthly basis to provide them with analysis and financial reports in relation to operations. Prepare concise summaries of these discussions. • In consultation with CEO and other Managers, prepare key financial reports together with narrative explanations for the Executive Group. • Work with the Managers to prepare data and analysis in relation to operational aspects of the business. • To undertake or participate in finance or operations related projects as required. Forecasting and Budgeting •Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the Company Limited. • In consultation with CEO, Operations managers and Head of departments, prepare quarterly forecasts for operations and corporate departments. • Continue to develop the Forecasting and Reporting systems, excel based reporting New Business Opportunities & Business Proposals • In consultation with the CEO and the Business Development Team, provides support to the business development process and liaise with the Group Finance managers in relation to new business proposals. • In consultation with the new business team and company stakeholder’s, design and construct business models to facilitate ROI, working capital, what-if, and sensitivity analysis, based on the assumptions of the investment, the proposed service delivery, staffing models and the inherent risks of the market. • Attend professional development activities to maintain and improve knowledge of systems and concepts in relation to role. Training and Management of staff • Using their knowledge of IT packages such as Excel to offer training and encourage development of all staff. Ongoing coaching of operations managers and deputy operations managers to continually improve spread sheets used to monitor performance in operations.
