The Dry Gas Seal Service Technician will be responsible for the refurbishment and testing processes of dry gas seals in the service centre.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technician will perform activities related to the repair and manufacture of New and refurbished DGS. Those activities include:
• Seal Inspection
• Manipulation of SAP to raise requirements
• Lapping and polishing of DGS Primary and Mating Rings
• Grooving of DGS Mating Rings
• Execution of Assembly procedures including:
1. Stack up
2. Dynamic Balancing
3. Seal Assembly
• Building of Test Equipment
• Seal Installation to Test Equipment
• Seal Testing
• Seal Packaging for dispatch
In addition to the DGS Activities, the introduction of Couplings to the JC Saudi portfolio will necessitate that the technician participates in the dynamic balancing and assembly activities for this product.
To ensure that the Service Team is fully flexible, the technician will be trained in various activities associated with Wet Seal Repair and new seal assembly.
