- Help carry out the necessary monitoring and investigations throughout the different departments and units to ensure work safety and performance integrity.
- Help conduct follow-up (inspection) campaigns to the different affiliated units to highlight shortcomings, disruption, or slack in performance of job duties, and then rectify paths in cooperation and coordination with the concerned parties.
- Help monitor work flow in department and affiliated units to ensure conformity to the approved systems, by-laws, and procedures.
- Help check received complaints, according to authorities, concerning administrative, financial, or any other violations.
- Help conduct preliminary interviews or participate in interviews resulting from monitoring, and all other received complaints after they have been verified.
- Monitor department and affiliated units’ employees’ working hours, in coordination with the Personnel Department.
- Help communicate with the Monitoring Authority in all authority-related matters concerning the departments, according to the delegated authorities.
- Help develop and strengthen the concept of self-monitoring in department employees.
- Organize and store files and information pertaining to monitoring activities in a way that facilitates their retrieval.
- Help provide recommendations that may facilitate and improve work flow.
- Help prepare periodical reports on unit activities, achievements, and development-related recommendations, including producing monthly and annual statistics on complaints and violations to be categorized and analyzed for results and indicators. Reports are submitted to the Department Head. Participates in, and supports, quality improving and patient safety activates as an individual or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Help coordinates the work of the Medical Error Committee.
