We are looking for a qualified “Accountant” to centrally manage the receipts, scanning and processing of supplier invoices, ensure the accuracy of ledger entries, ensure all bank transactions are correctly recorded and reported, help coordinate in the month-end closing; prepare and analyze Trial Balance schedules; and do any other ad-hoc analysis from time to time and ensure accurate registration of all transactions related to boutiques activity and ensure the implementation of retail operations in compliance with Group guidelines and internal control framework.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Receiving, allocating and scanning of supplier invoices
- Booking of local and foreign supplier invoices in line with Company policies and procedures, and agreements with the respective suppliers
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Prepayment amortization
- Supplier coordination as and when required Check and process travel expenses claims
- Other AP ad-hoc tasks
Bank Transactions
- Recording of bank transactions related to payments
- Monthly bank reconciliation including resolution of any differences in a timely manner
General Ledger
- Input and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger bookings and analysis of movement of accounts.
- Oversee Purchases and record other inter-company transactions
- Book accruals and other adjusting entries in coordination with Controlling Team
Retail accounting
- Boutique daily closing
- Credit card reconciliation
- Sales interface, information and follow-up on sales in anomaly deposits, payments, clearing, etc-boutique petty cash reconciliation and booking participate to stock takes and boutique audits
Monthly closing
- Book accruals and other adjusting entries in coordination with Controlling Team
- Participate to preparation of Group & statutory
- Reporting I/C reconciliation and I/C reporting
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Fixed assets reporting
Audit
- Assist internal and external auditors and implement recommendations, if any, for improving the system, and take corrective action when required.
Qualifications Required:
- BS degree in Finance or Accounting
- At least 5 years’ experience, in luxury goods industry would be an advantage
