The Bakery Operations Manager is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. - Responsible for leading the efficient, effective, safe, legal and profitable operations of the Bakery Department. - Coordinates human relations for the bakery and ensures execution of all company and department policies and procedures on a timely basis. • Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests. • Responsible for communication of information distribution to entire bakery department. • Responsible for maintaining positive atmosphere, spirit and morale within the bakery department. • Manage bakery systems and processes are utilized consistently and correctly. • Demonstrate effective leadership skills by managing time and delegation. • Develop team members and future leaders utilizing available materials and systems. • Support and execute against division concepts, programs and meeting financial goals. • Manage that Bakery Food Safety Procedures are adhered to. • Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity throughout the store and within the department. • Responsible for safe guarding, controlling and monitoring all bakery department assets, ensuring policy and procedures are implemented for control of assets. • Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment. Teach our team members the same. • Collaborate with Bakery Manager/Supervisor for meetings with the bakery leadership team to effectively plan production and promotion goals. • Coordinate team member schedules against business needs. • Collaborate in hiring, training and performance management of team members. • Coordinate that all books and manuals are kept updated. • Manage all purchase orders and maintain adequate levels. • Coordinates inventory process and reporting. • Perform other duties assigned by upper management.
