Coordinate Closely with Supply Chain Director:
Since MASCO deals with voluminous fruit inspection reports and claim related
documentation the Claims Executive should be able to update the Supply Chain director, on
a regular basis, with properly analyzed reports. This would ensure no time and money is
lost in the implementation of claims.
Maintain Good Relationships
The Claims Executive will need to work regularly with other MASCO Department and
branches and supplier counterparts.
Process Documentation
The Claims Executive should be able to learn to use MASCO’s ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX),
the current tool for managing huge volumes of claims. He should be able to bring about a
great deal of paperwork, organize and process the same. This paperwork can include:
* Fruit Inspection reports from all MASCO Branches
* Notification of Claims.
* Loss Reports.
* Analysis for all above-mentioned documentations.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Verify correctness of Inspection and Loss reports
• Ensure the said reports are emailed to corresponding supplier main contacts/QC
department in a very timely manner.
• Maintain detailed understanding of produce industry trends.
• Coordinate with MASCO and/or Suppliers’ Quality Control or Claims Departments
• Check and ensure compliance on claims procedures between MASCO and Suppliers
• Claims management - Act as the coordinator between relevant MASCO departments
such as Shipping, Insurance, Quality Control, etc.
• Provide timely processing of claims – QC Reports to final settlement.
• Prepare documents and other paper work relating to claims.
• Respond to inquiries from within MASCO and resolve pertaining to specific claim
issues.
• Assist staff in processing complicated claims.
• Bring to notice special policy matters to the attention of the management through
the Supply Chain Director.
