We are looking to recruit Senior Manager Foreign Delegations - Saudi National for a newly established government entity.
The role of the Senior Manager Foreign Delegations to monitor international events attended and manage visitors' schedule to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review received requests to support foreign delegations or to attend events with their respective objectives and check compatibility of visit/ event objectives with country's communication strategy before initiating the development of media engagement plan
- Ensure the coordination with Research and Monitoring Division to perform perception analysis and relevant research regarding the country of visit or event
- Monitor the development of media engagement plan that includes developed perception briefs and suggested schedule of activities and stakeholders to meet with ensuring adherence to the overall communication strategy
- Ensure that delegates receive the desired support (briefing packs, talking points, media environment briefing etc.)
- Conduct workshop with delegation to discuss media engagement plan and visit purpose for clarification purposes and circulate key decisions and plan to relevant stakeholders
- Oversee planning and organizing of journalist visits to KSA including completion of administrative documentation (incl. visas) and additional permissions as well as visitors' transportation services to ensure that they are handled promptly
- Coordinate with relevant entities for completion of vetting and background checks of visitors
- Ensure visitors are assisted in getting in touch with key stakeholders by setting meetings, calls, etc. to facilitate interactions
- Oversee feedback cycle to discuss international events attended, share important stories, and evaluate alignment of attended event with KSA's communication strategy
Key Requirements:- Bachelor Degree
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of experience in journalism and stakeholder management
- Experience in managing the logistics surrounding visits (incl. relevant permissions, meetings etc.) and strategically engaging and positively influencing stakeholders
- Due to the Saudization policy this role is exclusive to Saudi Nationals only
