This internationally recognised Luxury Retail brand is looking for a Senior Accountant to be based in their head office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the end to end function and will ensure all general ledger transactions are correctly recorded and reported.



As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will be:

• Coordinate the month-end closing; prepare and analyse trial balance schedules along with any other ad-hoc analysis from time to time
• In compliance with group guidelines, you will need to ensure the accurate registration of all transactions related to the Retail store activity
• Input and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger bookings and analysis of movement of accounts
• Reconciliation of vendor accounts as well as bank reconciliation including resolution of any differences in a timely manner
• Manage all receipts, scanning and processing of supplier invoices. Booking of local and foreign invoices in line with company policies, procedures and agreements with the respective suppliers

  As a Senior Accountant, your profile will be:
  
• over 7 years' experience including Accounts Payable experience is necessary
• Fluent in English and Arabic is desirable
• It is essential to have prior accounting experience and skills. Desirable to have Retail accounting
• Solid accounting background and skills
• Good technical working knowledge of accounting systems including SAP
• Understanding of international accounting standards and IFRS
• Strong in MS Office especially Excel
• You will need good communication and attention to details
• Ability to prioritise work well and meet tight deadlines
