JOB Description
Saudi Trading and Research Co. Ltd. (STARC) is looking for an experienced sales representative with the Engineering background for Saudi Arabia market. The candidate must have 4-8 years of experience in pipelines (metallic & non-metallic) & pipeline coating industry.
Key Responsibilities:
You shall be responsible to target and to drive sales on pipeline projects, mainly focusing on transmission pipelines for water, oil & gas sectors. You are required to constantly update a pipeline projects matrix and establish a strong understanding of the pipeline market in Saudi Arabia. To maintain and strengthen the existing contracts with major pipeline contractors, pipe mills, and consultants and to initiate & develop new contacts within these companies. To maintain a complete and detailed overview of current and future pipeline projects. Liaise with consultants, engineering contractors and O.E.M's etc., for product approvals and secure project specifications. Analyze competitor activities and devise counter strategies. Assist finance team with the collection of receivables. Spearhead kick-off meetings upon project award and coordinate field service engineering requirements. Visit job site during the initial phase of product installation to understand technical challenges, product issues, and other technical assistance requested by applicators on-site and initiate measures to service the same. Provide brief bi-weekly written reports to the management on activities accomplished during such period. Establish critical and time-sensitive objectives involving every project and at different stages —bidding, post EPC award, technical submissions, commercial negotiations, post job award, PQT, post-delivery and field activities.
