1. Pre-sales Process
• Makes recommendations to senior management on business opportunities.
• Carries out environmental scans of business architecture.
• Recommends strategies to senior management.
• Develops complex business cases across multiple business lines and platforms.
2. Products Knowledge
• Demonstrates detailed understanding of very complex products/services.
• Implements conceptual solutions by designing services or products to meet client needs.
• Uses product knowledge to anticipate future client needs.
• Acts as a subject matter expert on own products/services.
3. Presentation
• Delivers arguments persuasively by employing a range of advanced presentation techniques (e.g. the appropriate use of body language, how to close a presentation so that the audience continues to think about the subject matter etc.).
4. Impact and Influence
• Uses understanding of competing interests to manoeuvre successfully to a win/win outcome.
• Uses chains of indirect influence (e.g., get A to do B, which in turn will influence C).
• Gains support by capitalizing on understanding of political forces affecting the organization.
5. Daily Operations
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
• Assists in other presales activities assigned by presales engineers
• Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of presales section to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
6. Policies, Processes & Procedures
• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
7. Information Security
• Complies with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
