1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Central region accounting department.
2. Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget , scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
3. Responsible for various functions in Accounts receivables and accounts payables.
4. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
5. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods , policies and procedures.
6. Responsible for month end and year end closing process.
7. Ensure an accurate timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
8. Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy , applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
9. Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
10. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records for document transactions.
11. Collaborates with other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
12. Ensure customers pay on time and follow ups any overdue invoices.
13. Develop the credit control system in collaboration with Sales, Marketing , Finance team.
14. Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
15. Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the AR team.
16. Improve and implement debt collection process when there are any overdue invoices or payments and initiate legal procedures if necessary.
