Reviews reports and audits facilities regularly to ensure safety, health, security and sanitation guidelines are met as per company policy.
Delegates tasks and assigns workload to team leaders where applicable to ensure optimum and full control over staff productivity
Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
Investigates shipping discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action.
Coordinates any necessary records or invoice corrections.
Manages, investigates and resolves concerns/issues of warehouse personnel. Reviews regular reports provided by his line staff, verifies data, compiles as per summary requirement of line manager, in required time.
Reviews Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Preventive action for accident reports and pending recurring issues Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.
Conduct inventory of the stock on regular basis, Reviews and checks the inventory reports of his branch regularly to maintain good inventory.
Coordinates with other company entities such as purchasing, sales and transportation to ensure proper and timely execution of tasks.
Ensure FEFO control, monitor the expiry stocks regularly and inform the concerned on the stock expiry status
Ensure that cycle counts are done for all the warehouses
Supports the Warehouse Manager in preparing various Management information system (MIS) reports and presentations
Assist warehouse manager in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
Monitors volume of business and determines appropriate work schedule
Assist in plans, organizes, supervises and participates in daily warehouse operation activities including receiving, storage, picking, loading, quality checks
Responsible for planning of staff shifts and recording of attendance and overtime
Responsible for providing appropriate training, performance analysis, Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s).
Takes the role of the shift manager in the absence of the warehouse manager
responsible for stocks accuracy along with the operational team
Lead daily department meeting to ensure smooth delivery operation
Evaluate employee on every 6 month to review performance and submit to management Provide required report to manager
Adheres to company policy and safety procedures and work to create a healthy and secure environment.
Do other tasks assigned by management and related to your expertise.
