Duties and Responsibilities:
• To teach and examine students in the areas of knowledge implied by the lecturer’s qualifications and experiences.
• Have a teaching load not exceeding 20 class contract hours per week while ensuring that teaching process are in accordance with the national commission for academic accreditation assessment.
• To devise and deliver courses of study as determined by course committees and/ or director of nursing academy.
• Develop, design, Prepare and implement new methods of teaching and materials.
• Choose & update student’s text book and course curriculum.
• Deliver lecturers, Seminars and Tutorials.
• Assess student’s Coursework.
• Support students by providing them with advice and guidance relating to their school work.
• Prepare reports about student’s performance and attendance.
• Undertake administrative task related to the department, Such as student admission, induction programs and involvement in committees and boards.
• Ensure that all the necessary requirements for the lab are complete:
Write labs requirements for practical practice
Perform Pre-lab for practical subjects
Guide the lab technician for lab’s preparation
Maintain Lab’s safety during practical subject
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties as assigned within the realm of the employee’s Knowledge, skills and abilities.
