Job Description:
The employee will be a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions and services to meet organization objectives. He/she will conduct research on emerging technologies, assist with innovation projects and help design and create innovative technical solutions. This role will work on a number of projects and initiatives and will utilize their technical competency to perform external market and technical research, design, perform software testing and participate in proof of concept (POC) and prototyping activity.
Responsibilities:
- Drive market research that will identify and evaluate technologies to build new capabilities at the organization.
- Provide input and guidance around design and innovation.
- After idea/technology selection, provide POC plan and lead POC execution.
- Ensure quality in the products and software deliverables.
- Evaluate POC journey to identify viability and usability.
- Proactively anticipate obstacles or areas of concern and help identify potential solutions.
- Assist with the evaluation and selection of new /emerging technologies
- Coordinate and collaborate with the other teams to ensure that practice solutions are
- appropriately integrated with systems, processes and data.
- Assist with testing new technology.
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required
