• Deployment, configuration, and optimization of VMware technologies including VRealize Cloud Platform, vCenter Server, ESXi, vMotion, High Availability (HA), Fault Tolerance (FT), virtual networking, VMware Update Manager (VUM), physical to virtual migrations, Storage vMotion, and VMware vRealize Suite, VMware SRM.


• Configuring and managing ESXi, Virtual Storage, Software iSCSI, NFSDatastore, vSphere HA.


• Administering Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, file shares, etc.


• Data De-duplication & Compression, cloning and provision storage as quickly as possible, Backing up and Restoring VMs.


• HP Blades: Installation and configuring, remotely install Windows Operating system and ESXi, manage and troubleshoot.


• Taking backup and restoring data, using Veeam or any other similar technology.


• Disaster recovery (DR): Managing DR site.


• Installation, Configuration and Management of SAN/NAS.


• Configuring and administering a wide range of network services and protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, routing, DHCP, SMTP, NFS, iSCSI, and DNS.


• Under Security Engineer supervision implements the Nesma Group IT policy in Systems.


• Demonstrate technical expertise in Virtualization, Storage, anti-Virus, centralized monitoring, upgrading and patching.


• Manage vendor license and support contracts.


• Evaluates business and technical requirements; driving the selection, prototyping and implementation of technical solutions; and effectively communicating inherent security risks to management.


• Keep department employees well informed by providing incident reports and updates on any arising problems.


• Contribute to developing an effective culture at Nesma, upholding company values and staff morale.
