Progressive Recruitment has partner with a Multinational tier 1 contractor who is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their regional head office in Saudi Arabia. The job designation within this company ill be Head of Procurement.

Client:

The client in question is a major player in the Construction sector focusing on a number of segments including Building, Oil & Gas, Facilities Management, Solar, Water, Real Estate, Infrastructure & Power Plants. They focus on projects mainly in the Middle East but have a very strong presence in Africa, Asia and even parts of Europe. Due to expansion and growth plans they are now looking for a Head of Procurement to join their business on a permanent basis in Saudi Arabia. This is a residential position, based in Saudi Arabia which include travel also.

Role & Profile:

Looking for a Procurement professional from a engineering background who understands the job from a technical stand point not just from a SC/Procurement view

Career history working for building contractors on high value construction projects (Buildings)

Leading and mentoring the team of buyers

Evaluation of quotations and negotiations with vendors for Contract and PO finalization

Coordination with procurement personnel from ICs/SBGs/SBUs for desired purchase/spend data and vendor and category wise analysis as deemed fit

Capturing and effectively leveraging market and cost trends

Procurement/SCM Initiators and Function Heads from Corporate and HO departments

Top/Senior personnel of corporate functions like Legal, CIT, T&H, PGM, Corporate F&A, Internal Controls, SSC, CHR etc

Top/senior personnel of vendor organizations
