About the role:
The Site Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting Kerry’s finance function deliver timely and accurate financial information and analysis to key stakeholders within the Kerry MENAT business.
Based at the Jeddah manufacturing plant in KSA, the Site Accountant will assume key responsibility for daily finance activity. As new ways of working are being introduced, Kerry processes and system changes are being implemented across this recently introduced site, and so the Site Accountant is expected to be a strong Agent of Change while balancing a strong commercial growth agenda.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player capable of demonstrating key leadership and advocacy competencies in this strategic bridging role, working towards an integrated, cohesive & combined Kerry organization locally. He/she will also be expected to support cross functional initiatives and acquisition integration projects as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintenance and review of current Finance activity at site on a daily basis to include Operations Finance, Commercial Finance and Financial Control
- Co-ordination of functional integration plans with a specific focus on statutory and management reporting, cash management, compliance, pricing and margin management, operational excellence KPIs, capital expenditure & SAP readiness programme
- Support the commercialization and introduction of Kerry Taste portfolios at site capable of leveraging the local manufacturing footprint and enabling Kerry’s push initiatives and commercial growth strategy
- Preparation and review of various monthly reports / metrics together with functional stakeholders with a strong emphasis on monthly Volume, Revenue & Margin reporting across a matrix managed organisation
- Calculation and delivery of costing / pricing models across Kerry MENAT’s product portfolio with a keen understanding of pricing and margin management drivers (raw material risk, conversion cost modelling, FX risk management, margin segmentation etc)
- Oversight of the weekly Forward Projection (“Flash”) report, providing regional management with a real-time assessment of current month business performance
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required including periodic executive meeting analytics, presentation activity and conducting recurring post acquisition reviews
- Engagement and partnering support of both cross functional and new to Kerry stakeholders designed to foster a greater understanding of key business drivers and performance. A core requirement of the role will be the effective channeling and escalation of local site issues to resolution while dual operating models are effective
