You will be looking after a multicultural team, driving all logistic activities that includes Distribution, Import, Export, Warehousing, Inventories and Procurement activities. Will be in charge of complying with the rules and regulations for transaction of goods/ logistic activities across Saudi Arabia region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels.
Develop and maintain the transportation system, domestic and international freight and ensure both business needs and customer service is met.
Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics and customer service department budgets
Maintain warehousing, distribution and procurement by developing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition and performance management.
Responsible for procurement activities in line with the Group policies.
Handle technical details related to international transportation and customs regulations
Manage remote logistic projects and execute them on time and within stipulated budget.
Set up standardization programs across Saudi Arabia region for all logistic activities (Warehouses, inventories, procurement, distribution, etc.) and maximize synergies across countries and departments.
Ensure H&S standards are met as per company policy.
