• Provides input into and drives the implementation of strategic business decisions and organizational goals.
• Responsible for developing the annual business plan which documents short and long-term objectives with a focus on sustainable growth. Tracks goal accountability and performance.
• Represents the organization as an executive leader to employees, subcontractors, clients and communities demonstrating the organization?s mission, vision and core values.
• Identifies opportunities and drives improvement and consistency throughout the organization.
• Leads Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Human Resources, and Information Technology operations and initiatives.
• Oversees accuracy, compliance, and standardization of accounting procedures, internal controls, auditing activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develops financial metrics and monitors financial performance.
• Serves as a liaison with external firms and agencies including Financial Advisor, Banks, Insurance Agents, Surety Bonding Agent, Attorney, and Auditors.
• Responsible for managing tax liabilities, cash flows, bonding capacity, working capital and resources, investments, reserves, and credit.
• Monitors construction project profitability and participates in regular budget reviews.
• Responsible for procuring and managing liability and property insurance with proper coverage, inclusions, and exclusions.
• Analyzes and advises on project-specific risk management areas and reviews contractual language.
• Oversees Human Resources strategy, operations, and initiatives providing guidance on policy development and implementation including competitive compensation and benefits programs.
• Monitors legal developments providing consultation on risk management matters, lien defense and subcontractor disputes.
• Oversees Information Technology strategy, operations and initiatives providing guidance to the Managed Service Provider related to infrastructure, network, hardware, and software.
• Identifies critical issues; facilitates and implements solutions to ensure organizational success.
