Scope:
The key objective of this initiative is to transform Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) towards an integrated process, centered around a rolling forecast, integrated with S&OP, and underpinned by a Predictive Analytics based driver model delivering Integrated Management Information. The initial priorities are:
Conceptual design of the planning future-state, including process, data, technology, management information and people
Realize short-term benefits in 2020 – potentially including: value driver model, revamped managerial reporting, manual enabled rolling forecast, asset and product MI, value leakage and closure, and consistent KPI definitions
Technology selection – Evaluate and select leading technology solution(s) based on the requirements collected in the Conceptual design initiative
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a large and multifaceted team to the successful completion of the End State Conceptual Design encompassing key deliverables such as:
o Long-Term Planning and Rolling Forecast
Design principles
Planning calendar
To-be process design and process flows
To-be data structures
To-be operating rhythm
o Value Driver Model
Adaptation of an Enterprise Value Map relevant for the client
Value drivers defined
Financial statement linkage (statutory and management evaluated)
KPI definitions
Value leakage identified
o Technology Requirements
Description of the business requirements for the future state technology solution
Description of the functional and non-functional requirements for the future state technology solution (including: reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements, forms, workflow, business rules, etc.)
o Implementation Plan & Business Case
Project charter, including scope, deliverables, plan and value realization for short-term / 2020 enhancements
Approach, scoping, timelines, resources requirements and value realization for long-term
technology enablement
Facilitate the creation of the RFP to be issued to evaluate and select technology solutions
Lead the technical aspects of the RFP process to ensure a comprehensive and unbiased process is executed and that the optimal solution(s) are selected
Complex program/portfolio delivery
Sizing, shaping and directing program/portfolio of work
Senior stakeholder relationship mgmt.
Presentation and facilitation
Execution of integrated (organization, people, process and technology) Roadmaps
Mentoring, coaching & people development
Specific Domain Expertise:
o Strong knowledge in designing end to end EPM (covering Strategy, Planning, Design, Forecast) frameworks and designs for large multinational companies (with similar complexity as our client)
o Experience shall cover long-term planning, rolling forecast design principles, data structures & data model
o Good understanding of EPM tech landscape (solutions from Oracle, IBM, SAP) & experience in implementing EPM solutions (preferred SAP EPM/BPC/SAC Analytics)
