• Preparing loading and load combinations based on the applicable codes and standards.


• Reviewing or coordinating reviews of shop drawings for structural adequacy.


• Checking complex structural engineering including structural designs, rack structure supports, structural foundation drawings, main structural frames, secondary steel frames, platforms and access, architectural plan drawings and load foundation calculations.


• Applying extensive knowledge of structural engineering, including steel structure design, concrete structure design, steel buildings, piling and foundation design, and related element design.


• Reviewing and approving calculations completed by others.


• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of the engineering work packages, MTOs and cost estimates for the Civil/Structural bids and proposals.


• Preparing RFQ and PO packages for roads, creek crossings, retaining structures.


• Providing formwork calculations.


• Preparing Breakdowns for different construction items found in tender BOQs.
