Maintains professional knowledge of disease states, drug therapy, and drug products. Attend Continuing Education (CE) programs and maintain active involvement in professional organizations. Maintains licensure and vaccine certification.
Commitment to the provisions of the infection control and sterilization system and the safe disposal of medical waste according to the executive regulations of the unified system for health care waste management in the countries of the GCC.
Establish clear protocols and standards and follow them to manage treatment, and include a list of all medications used for the disease and specific directions for the use of the drug in its various pharmaceutical forms, and side effects and ways to deal with them.
What is the mechanism of change followed by treatment plans and instructions for requesting analyzes for evaluation and follow-up
Familiarity with vaccines and the correct ways to give them to the patient and how to deal with symptoms or allergies and emergency situations, and provide plans for these emergency cases and coordination with health institutions to receive these cases
Works with business development team to grow specialty pharmacy by calling on physicians and strategically assessing specialty network, limited distribution.
Performs all duties of a registered pharmacist including providing vaccinations approved for administration. The employee may be expected to render medical assistance as part of their job description.
Optimize adherence to drug therapy by teaching families and patients about their medication.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
