Job Purpose:

The accountant is responsible to manage accounting transactions and prepare financial reports based on accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations. 

Job Description - Principal Accountabilities/Key Results Area:

Accounting:

• Prepare applications of the Letter of Credit (LC’s) & Letter of Guarantee (LG’s) and following up with the bank


• Release payments for all suppliers


• Release payments for employees i.e. periderms


• Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis


• Book all payments on the system


• Book intercompany transactions


• Book suppliers’ bills


• Any other transactions


• Comply with accounting standards and regulations

Reporting:

• Following up on expired Letter of Guarantee (LG’s) to release or extend expiry date and keeping track of all LG’s


• Daily cash position report


• Weekly collection report


• Weekly facility report


• Any other report
