Job Summary
The Senior Planner will supervise and participate in developing logic network planning using Critical Path Method for all project aspects including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning in consistence with project execution plans and methodologies. His duties include but not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in creation and maintaining a Master Control Schedule with resource loading.
- Anticipate and interpret the demands of the project in terms of labour, materials and equipment
- Determine significant irregularities, trends and variances and suggest corrective action.
- Prepare Claim analysis and time delay analysis.
- Participate in sort-out contractual disputes related to time with subcontractors.
- Attend and schedule weekly/monthly project progress review meetings, appraise project progress status and highlight Bottle – Necks / Critical areas.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports highlighting project KPI’s and trends.
- Responsible for developing & updating the risk register, and continuously updating the PM with any corrective actions
- Prepare project close-out report and issue to PM and tender department for reference and future consideration.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Clients, Consultants and sub-Contractors for matters related to progress and schedule
- Assist in the tendering stage of new projects and participate in the issuance of queries
- Ensuring projects compliance and Clients satisfaction
- Coordinate between trades and provide interface solutions
