We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage a Supply Chain for Printing Press with responsibility on Demand & Supply Planning, warehouse & distribution, Order to Cash activities and Clearance. Will also be responsible to establish and develop relationship with strategic suppliers and customers to ensure high service quality and efficiency in the operations. Will also support the business results by being part of the country mancom to ensure full development of the Company operations in line with business requirements, and lead initiatives, through lean tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement across the organization. A day in the life of - Ensuring stock availability in the country minimizing working capital - Reduce cost of distribution - Ensuring best in class service to customer - Develop suppliers relationship and management through operational review - Drive continuous development in customer order automation - Lead safety and compliance in Supply Chain operations.
- Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
- Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Directs and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Works with logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Works with freight forwards and transportation companies to set the best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
- Collaborates with the procurement department to determine best practices for freight in and freight consolidation.
- Supports proper utilization of ERP system (Planning Edge, Accellos).
- Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
