• Assist in developing and recommending to the Board the RMEA’s positioning and strategic direction, to ensure Company’s success.
• Assist in developing and recommending to the Board an annual operating plan and financial budget that support Company’s long-term strategy.
• Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial controls and supporting information systems of the Company.
• Ensure compliance with corporate regulatory and legal requirements while creating a safe and efficient work environment
• Manage the preparation of an annual budget as well as five-year business plan for the Company.
• Develop appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financial performance of the Company.
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take actions to enhance, where necessary, the internal control systems within the Company.
• Keep the Board aware of the financial position and financial development of the Company.
• Ensure proper training of all personnel working on financial, accounting, audit or fiscal matters.
• Oversee and monitor the Company’s financial position, cash flow, banking and financing activities and capital structure and monitor the respect of banking and financial covenants and hedging arrangements, as applicable;
• Ensure the adequacy of the Company’s insurance coverage.
• Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and compliance for the Company.
• Oversee and monitor information technology, leaseholds, and legal matters.
• Coordinate the preparation of the Company’s financial statements and management discussion and analysis (annual and interim)
• Coordinate the annual audit with the Company's external auditors.
• Coordinate the review, and liaise with the external auditors as required to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
• Oversee the Company's processes for identifying, assessing and managing the principal risks of the Company's business.
• Assist the Company’s Audit Committee in performing its duties.
• Attend meetings of the Board and its Committees and present the financial information necessary or relevant to the Board or such Committee for discharging its duties.
• Oversee the legal registrations, submissions and renewals of the company and the related processes.
• Manage and coordinate AGM, EGM, resolutions and update of legal documents as per requirements.
