Purpose:
To develop and conduct recruitment, manpower Planning, organizational design, compensation, benefits and performance management. To participate in the development and execution of HR services using expertise acquired to improve the organizational effectiveness or resolve issues.
Accountabilities:
- Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the area of work to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Provide interpretation to line-managers regarding policies, programs, plans and practices.
- Liaise with the concerned departments to develop GAC annual manpower plans.
- Deliver small-scale projects or well defined tasks on major projects to improve HR support to the business.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate performance management.
- Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
- Review employment applications and make job offers to match applicants with job requirements.
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination or promotions.
- Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
- Evaluate recruitment or selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, or testing standards, recommending revisions, as needed.
- Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as GAC databases, networking, internet recruiting channels, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.
- Evaluate compensation analysis information and annually review salary scale.
