Responsibilities: 

• Ability to coordinate and plan (to meet time delivery and engineering standards) shop drawing / as built drawings.
• Ability to manage and prepare all submittals and approvals for shop drawings as built drawings & any other submittals related to engineering section.
• Ability to find discrepancies.
• Ability to define discrepancies (civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical, all plans related to constructed disciplines.
• Ability to coordinate all disciplines during shop drawings and avoid discrepancies.
• Mange, complete team of architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, quantity surveyors & draftsmen.
• Overall administration and control of engineering section.
• Ensure quality of output from the section in conformance with governing departmental procedure, and to recognize engineering standards, including updating and creating of new procedure.
• Select & deploy engineers and draftsman of required qualifications & competencies.
• Review monitor program and man-hour consumption on all engineering work.
• Develop new process improvement for increasing productivity efforts of construction engineering and quantity groups.
• Control & review design for all projects captured by the company (awarded) all engineers of different disciplines will be involved in this review & report to the engineering manager. 

Authorities: 

• Authorized to perform all instructions from his superior (Head of Department) as per the policies & procedures of the company.
• Totally authorized to distribute the works on the subordinates.
• Coordinate all disciplines during shop drawings & avoid discrepancies.
• Ensuring conformity with technical standards and quality be dealing with well established suppliers and manufacturers of various construction material.
• Utilizing internationally acknowledgement systems in the engineering (design & planning) such as Auto Cad, stad & Primavera.
• Paying attention to human resources by providing constant qualifications and training.
• Coordinate and plan to meet time, delivery and engineering standards, for shop drawings & as built drawings.
• Discover discrepancies (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, all plans related to construction disciplines.
• To manage the engineering team (Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity surveyor & Draftsman).
• Overall administration and control of engineering section.
• Ensure quality of output from the section in conformance with governing department procedures.
• Select & replay engineers and draftsmen of required qualifications & competencies after coordination with his superior.
• Control & review design for all projects captured by the company (by all the engineering team).
