Purpose

The main objective of the position is four-fold

1. To oversee, monitor and support to ensure security of the JIGPC site in meeting the best practices in security management and also in JIGPC security standards derived from world class global Saudi Aramco, Air Products and ACWA Power Standards.
2. Owns the Emergency Response program for the JIGPC site ensuring organization fitness from a Security, Fire Brigade and Medical point of view.
3. Custodian for the service agreements with Saudi Aramco Security, with Air Products Security, with CMC (medical) and with a third-party security service provider (TBD).
4. Ensure compliance with the JIGPC Duty of Care program for all JIGPC (seconded) employees and associated contractors.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is a key role in the JIGPC EHSSQ leadership team. Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Ensures compliance with Security Standards ; assessments serve to improve effectiveness and strengthening adherence;
• Ensures implementation of a robust Emergency Response plan for JIGPC;
• Establish key security and emergency response work processes;
• Reconcile Security and Emergency Response related safety standards and procedures from JV partners
• Promote the development of an organizational culture where safety is highly valued. Provide security and emergency response education and awareness training.
• File suspicious activity reports, prepare internal reports of investigation, identify procedural and control weaknesses and make recommendations to ensure protection of assets and prevent future losses. Interview employees, contractors, witnesses and suspects involved with internal and external theft/fraud investigations. Collect and maintain evidence needed for criminal, civil or personal action. Maintain case files and develop data on all cases investigated. Develop and maintain strong liaison with law enforcement and court officials. Conduct security awareness and fraud prevention training for business area and field operations. Maintain compliance with security vulnerability assessments by implementing and sustaining procedural improvements to critical assets. 

Additional Tasks

• Conduct comprehensive and timely investigations of complex business investigations that arise.
• Apply legal requirements related to investigations in scenarios that are complex and broad in scope, consulting with Global Security and the Law Group, as needed.
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure that they investigate employee relations issues in a comprehensive and timely manner.
• Research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports and represent ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Maintain operational effectiveness of physical security investments
• To standardize and work with site leadership to implement security rules and regulations, monitor optimum compliance to security rules and regulation at all times trough periodic audits/follow-ups and meetings with site leadership and security personnel.
• To report all security incident to corporate security and so necessary investigation and implement necessary corrective action
• To audit JIGPC assets with a team and guide the plant owners on the security standards, to review security equipment and recommend on which products to be used for security system and to review ORI for completion of SVA recommendation on security for all assets sites
• To review all new projects on security standards for sites and submit recommendation on EHS Security Scopes Definition and Estimate Template
