Key Accountabilities:
Financial/Monetary: (Receivable):
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Cash flow management by monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimize investment.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Compliance with all accounting standards.
• Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax & Zakat filings.
Customer/Client: (Internal/External):
• Engage in discussions with management to increase efficiencies in processes
• Enhance and improve automation of financial reports submitted to management, in coordination with the IT Division
• Dealing with internal and external auditors for audit requirements for finance
People/Employee: (Unit/Group-wide):
• Manage and train the accounts staff
• Work and cooperate with other departments and sister companies.
Internal Processes/Practices: (Productivity/Quality/Compliance):
• Identify lapses in internal controls and share the same with the CFO, so that the processes may be improved and provide solutions
• Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
