Set up and operate machines as well as CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, etc.
Understand required task specifications and desired outcome by reading mechanical blueprints and drawings.
Translate instructions into computer commands so that machines can perform the job properly.
Preparation and loading of raw materials and spare parts on machines.
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce output according to specifications.
Tuning machines to complete full cycles of manufacturing a large number of parts.
Supervise the machines while they carry out the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to achieve a better result.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly.
Inspect and maintain machines daily to ensure they provide the required performance
