What You Will Do
•Provide on-the-floor Engineering support to operations & maintenance to understand equipment performance, troubleshoot issues in a timely manner, and evaluate system capabilities.
•Actively participate in driving a safety culture where employees address unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviours and participate and make suggestions for improvements.
•Execute capital projects including upgrades to plant systems, process equipment, and scalable transformation priorities
•Generate mechanical requirements and estimates for projects and equipment upgrades
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
•Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment such as conveying systems, automated stacking equipment, batching operations and combustion furnace operations
•Read, modify and create technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated models
•Provide training and technical support to Maintenance and Production Departments
•Investigate equipment failures and make recommendations for solutions to manufacturing processes
