About Your Job:
Al Maha Airways is the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia's newest Airline.
A new position has been created for an experienced manager procurement and Logistics. Based in Saudi Arabia, the Manager Procurement and logistics will be responsible for formulating, implementing and maintaining the procurement and logistics strategy for Al Maha Airways. You will be responsible for the effective management of all procurement and logistics activities in compliance with government rules, regulations, international standards and relevant Qatar Airways procurement policies and procedures.
Manager Procurement and logistics will also be responsible for setting procurement strategy, interfacing with colleagues of all levels and managing the supply chain to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements. You will also coordinate all activity under the direction of both finance and Administration Director Al Maha Airways and Qatar Airways procurement. Interface with internal user departments and suppliers on procurement projects. You will also be responsible for definition of supply strategy for relevant product categories.
About You:
The successful candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field such as studied material management or logistics. Having a Master's degree will be advantageous to your application.
You will have a minimum of 8 years job related experience required, working experience in inventory, warehouses and logistics supervisor and management. It is preferred that you have airline, Middle East and strong product category experience.
It is essential that you are able to work under pressure in a highly charged working environment, perform to tight deadlines and work on multiple projects effectively. You will be working in a multi-cultural and fast paced environment. You must have strong contractual skills, strategic analysis and Managerial skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.Have excellent command of both oral and written English.
