Progressive Global Energy has been engaged to identify and recruit a Project Engineering Manager to be based in Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is extremely exciting opportunity to join one of the world's leading EPIC companies.
Qualified Candidates will have over 20 years experience in design engineering of offshore drilling and production facilities. The hired candidate will be a superb project manager and have excellent engineering and design skills.
Responsibilities
Leads the project's engineering team to ensure the design meets the contracts scope, schedule and quality requirements, and the work is performed within budget.
* Holds technical authority for decision making on all engineering matters, while obtaining inputs from functional discipline managers on specific discipline issues if necessary.
* Communicate the as-awarded scope of work to the engineering team's lead personnel. The scope of work includes Scope of Services and Scope of Facilities.
* Communicate key contractual requirement to the engineering team's lead personnel. These include clauses related to change orders, approval authorities, warranties, pricing and payment basis.
* Ensure alignment between the engineering disciplines on scope and contractual requirements.
* Actively manage all open and unresolved scope issues to minimize negative impacts on budget and schedule commitments
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Shall have demonstrated the ability to coordinate with other disciplines and the Client, assign and supervise individual work assignments, and effectively manage scope, budgets, and schedule for engineering activities.
* For larger or more complex projects, the PEM should have an appropriate greater level of experience. Considering the complexities of managing a large multi-discipline team, the PEM
should have experience as an interface coordinator or deputy PEM.
