- Plan, coordinate, & directs internal audit projects, effectively utilizing audit resources to ensure proper controls exist and are functioning and risk is appropriately mitigated.
- Manages the creation of work products such as audit analysis, client correspondence, memorandum and other working papers that document the assignment procedures preformed, the findings, and the results of those procedures.
- Assists in developing a risk assessment of the client's important processes & organizational components.
- Assists in preparing the annual audit plan.
- Periodically communicates the results of audit projects, including significant issues, and the value we have provided to the client after consultation with the internal audit director.
- plans the audit project and finalizes the work plan.
- Identifies and orients the internal audit team.
- Further understands and evaluates processes and related controls.
- Prioritizes the risks in terms of their potential impact on the goals, objectives, and financial viability of company (e.g., achievement of one or more goals or objectives, higher or lower, immediate or long-term risk).
- Aligns internal audit activities with the risk of priorities of the client.
- Develops risk factors as the criteria of weighing the relative significance of potential risk posed by an audit-able unit.
