Manage machine shop and welding maintenance activities to ensure that these facilities operate efficiently and effectively so that plant availability and operating capability is maximised and machine shop/welding activities are carried out to a high standard.



The jobholder reports to the Manager, Maintenance Support and is accountable for all Machine Shop and Welding activities.



Given the nature of the work considerable liaison is required with other Maintenance related areas and with other Operational activities.

Procedures are evolving; jobholder is expected to continue to enhance existing working methods and processes with a strong focus on adding value.
