Job Role:
To Provide the Legal Unit with timely, effective and efficient support and assistance in the daily legal activities
Job Responsibilities:
Contract Review:
• Assist in the review of contracts.
• Assist in identifying legal risks in current contracts forms and suggesting areas of improvements in light of industry practice and the applicable business regulations, statutes and ordinances
Contract Drafting:
• Drafting contracts and other legal documents such as file briefs, notices, and ensure required paperwork is readily available and complete.
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments to support on contract related issues where the consolidation of adequate information is required for proper contract drafting/review process.
Legal Consultation:
• Assist in providing legal advice on legal issues associated with contracts and aspects of non-compliance with applicable local and international laws
Negotiation:
Participate upon specific assignment in the negotiation of contracts, if needed, with contracting parties in the pre-or-during contracting stage
Research:
• Conduct background research and investigation activities to support the team activities in contract and corporate affairs.
