Job Description
• Formulating and implementing Information Technology strategies, along with budget CAPEX and OPEX, maintaining allied technology checklists and managing the utilization of resources to ensure IT services are delivered within the approved IT budgets.
• Regularly conducting technical supervision for technology interns, closely monitoring the other staff, yearly updating technology job descriptions and evaluating technology staff, ascertaining better work flow.
• Examining technology requirements and accordingly designing IT contracts, SLA agreements, scope of works and quotations to meet long term objectives of the organization.
• Conceptualizing and executing technological substitute to streamline functions and implementing procedures to develop productivity in line with organizational goals.
• Determining, establishing technical specifications and business relationship management to ensure smooth functioning of the organization in an effective manner.
• Performing regular system checks and preventive maintenance on hardware\software, planning upgrades and security backups of hardware\software systems to ensure optimum system performance.
• Spearheading strategic IT installation and maintenance services of the organization،s local area network hardware\software, recommended infrastructure and application assessment, along with assisting in designing and implementing high availability, scalability, performance and security.
• Drafting reports and requisite information, accordingly managing general correspondence regarding information technology related issues, thus submitting the same to the senior management for further corrective measures.
• Overseeing the design and implementation of the organizations IT infrastructure including network servers and devices email, internet, IP telephony, data storage, video conferencing, back-up systems that supports the Organization’s business process needs.
• Formulating and implementing strategic plans and objectives of the information technology needs of the Group, whilst ensuring the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs for seamless functioning of activities leading to optimal growth chart of the organization.
• Devising and instituting operating policies and procedures for computing and information technology. Thus suggesting improvement, along with developing the IT security policies and procedures of the organization to ensure the organization’s infrastructure, intellectual capital and business are secured as per established acceptable standards.
• Supporting senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in accordance with business goals and objectives, simultaneously communicating with senior managers regarding internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing and dissemination of information.
