Hub Operations Leader :
• Responsible for ensuring all processes are followed within the depot. Offering excellent customer services. Make recommendations to the cross dock leaders in ways to be more efficient in the Warehouse.
• Secure that the warehouse equipment & machinery are maintained and are safe to operate.
• Ensure that equipment handlers are properly trained and licensed to prevent work related accidents and all the safety and security procedures and checklists for equipment and warehouse racking are completed on a daily basis so as to ensure the store is safe to open for trading.
• Ascertain all safety regulations are as per the local law and guidelines of the country.
• Establish that all controls, processes and data are accurately maintained in the warehouse management system to safeguard smooth data flow and achieve detailed and precise reports
• Prepare manpower plans, set productivities for hub and supervise warehouse teams to ensure highest level of work efficiency within the budgeted productivities, motivation and control all the operational costs.
• Drafting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all hub activities and ascertain that all staff are properly trained on all the SOP’s and receive adequate development support to secure the hub performance and succession needs.
• Regular communication to the hub leaders
• Conduct daily start up shit meetings to go over the days receiving and shipping schedule
Cross Doc Leader
• To be able to work different shifts in a 24/7 operation which involves monthly shift rotations. Required to work effectively in a team but also as an individual knowing what needs to be done during the shift.
•To secure that inbound /outbound shipments are unloaded / loaded in a timely pace taking the highest possible care to ensure there is no damage caused during the process. To follow all processes and assist where required to ensure the facility operates efficiently.
•To be responsible for offloading the trailers that are delivered to the facility in a timely manner
• To be responsible for properly staging the incoming shipments in the designated area’s as per the plan
• Need to be very vigilant during offloading and staging the shipment to reduce the discrepancy and stock loss
