KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Procurement of materials as per site requirements and specifications at comparative rates within stipulated time with reference to indents and budgets.
• Assisting Procurement Manager in Vendor Development and Vendor Evaluation
• Ensure ISO and ERP System implementation/compliance in his domain.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best price and deliver date.
• Review quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from the vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical specifications, repairs and/or directs preparation of general and special conditions for use on all project purchase documents, ensuring that requirements of the prime contract are incorporated.
• Received all Incoming Mails, Documents, Drawing (Hard and Electronic) and forward to project - in-charge / Manager for review and smooth distribution to relevant personnel. Review / assess technical specification, BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and Drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
• Supervise daily/weekly/monthly consumptions of materials.
• Follow up with the outstanding Material Requisition (materials, equipment, office supplies) at head office prior for issuance of LPO.
• Ensures that the project stores are properly supervised and staffed.
