The Strategic Planning & Investment Senior Analyst is responsible for preparing Finance operational strategy of company. In addition to participating in related discussions around company’s investments opportunities and providing financial guidance.
Develops and designs the operational strategy of company Finance in terms of goals, objectives, initiatives, business plan, and future roadmap and plans.
Cascades developed Finance strategic and business plans to the appropriate SBUs Finance functions.
Reviews, discusses and advises on company business plans, and monitors the implementation of these plans across SBUs Finance functions.
Discusses and participates in major decisions related to strategy, initiatives and investments across company.
Obtains feedback from the concerned parties on proposed Finance plans, assesses its validity and applicability, and performs the needed revisions accordingly.
Coordinates and directs related Finance projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of activities.
Conducts market and feasibility studies to identify new enhancements opportunities and develops business cases, proposals and detail budgets for conducting of such studies.
Controls and monitors the financial performance of investment portfolio locally, regionally and globally
Conducts business impact analysis of industry, business, or regulatory developments from a financial point of view
Coordinates with company related functions and entities (i.e. Office of Strategic Management, company Investment SBU, committees…) to provide an expert financial advice, and highlight major potential risks
Evaluates the investment options available to company based on a specific request from the top management, OSM, Investment committee, etc …
Ensures alignment and consistency with the set treasury and financing policies, and evaluate funding and liquidity options and requirements in coordination with Treasury function.
Reports the financial status and progress of the existing projects to ensure that the performance is in line with the set budgets, targets and expectations to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
