The Safety Administrator positon will be a key member of our team. The Safety Administrator will plan, organize, coordinate and create comprehensive safety and loss control/ prevention documents. Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Health, Safety and Equipment management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create safety documentation packages for supervisors
2. Input information and maintain excel training matrix
3. Input safety related information into daily tracking system
4. Obtain and copy tickets from all workers- following new hire orientation
5. Create file folders for each worker orientated
6. Update and confirm that the shared drive has all the scanned copies of any missing documents
7. Keep track of all operators start date and ensure the competency is handed in on time
8. Provide and maintain a weekly chart that illustrates any missing and upcoming expiry dates of employees training
9. Update disciplinary action log with any disciplinary actions received
10. Ensure all copies of Site Specific ERP are up to date and given to foreman and any person with a vehicle on the project
11. Manage clerical portion of documentation of all safety related documentation
12. Prepares regular and other special reports as required, other duties as assigned
